KOKOMO, Ind. — One person is dead after a fatal shooting during a home invasion.is investigating after a man called officers saying he had shot an intruder Sunday evening.
Police responded to the 600 block of East Jackson Street and found a man who had been shot in the front of the house. The homeowner told police that he was sleeping in his house when he woke up from a 51-year-old man in his living room, according to officials. The victim tried to get the man to leave his house when it he was attacked by the intruder.
