Jupiter police said at about 3:40 p.m. Sunday, officers went to assist Palm Beach County Fire Rescue at Harbourside Place regarding the incident, Oct. 23, 2023. A place that calls itself a "destination for shopping, dining, luxury hotel accommodations, entertainment, and boating" became the scene of a tragedy when someone was electrocuted in an outdoor fountain area.
Also, three underage victims are still recovering in the hospital, and a second adult was treated and released.Evidently, somebody had gone into the water and started having some distress," Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Captain Tom Reyes said. "Some other people went in and tried to remove them from the water and it appears there may have been an electrocution in the water itself.
