Police say one person has died and a second person was injured after being shot near E. 38th Street and N. German Church Road.
INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead and a second person was injured in a shooting at a gas station on Indianapolis' far east side Tuesday afternoon.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were initially called to parking lot in the area of N. German Church Road and E. 38th Street around 12:30 p.m. Arriving officers located two victims with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound in the parking lot of a Citgo Gas station and a Brother's liquor store.The second victim was also transported to the hospital, their condition is not known at this time.At this time, police do not have any suspects in custody.
The shooting remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the shooting should contact IMPD or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477.
