1 person killed, two others wounded in Otay Mesa West shooting [Breaking]
At least one person was killed and two others were injured Friday night during a shooting in Otay Mesa West, according to San Diego police.
The shooting was reported just after 7 p.m. on Coronado Avenue near Beyer Boulevard, said Officer Robert Heims. The person killed died before they could be taken to a hospital, said Dispatch Supervisor Brent Peterson with the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.Another person was taken to a hospital after suffering major injuries, Peterson said. A third victim suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital.This is a breaking news story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
