will be remembered Thursday to mark a year after the tragedy.
VTA employees Thursday morning gathered at the yard in a private ceremony to pay tribute to the workers killed. A public memorial to remember victims and honor their families is also scheduled to take place at 9 a.m. Santa Clara County District Attorney Jeff Rosen will also present medals to the first responders of the shooting.
The San Jose City Council proclaimed a Day of Remembrance for the victims of the VTA yard shooting as the one-year anniversary approaches. A moment of silence was held at City Hall and the rotunda will be lit in the VTA's colors of white, dark blue and light blue.
