The announcements at the top of the stream provided a good lens of significant trends taking over video games, with the first reveal clearly intended to entice the Web3 space.It’s common for developers to announce big games with cinematic trailers that don’t actually show gameplay, but “Everywhere” may have done the same to its own detriment.
“We’re not trying to make a normal game,” said “Everywhere” assistant game director Adam Whiting on stage after the teaser, before elaborating, “We want to build a whole new world for gamers.” A positive sign for the game is that its goals seem aligned with what pro-metaverse gamers out of such experiences, namely the ability to connect with people and explore digital worlds with them.wild numbers
Legendary Entertainment’s “Dune” was met with critical buzz upon its 2021 release and doubled as Warner Bros.’ top-grossing film of the year. Now, the IP derived from Frank Herbert’s sci-fi novels will see its desert landscape turned into an open-world, massively multiplayer online survival game.
