Several people were arrested by North Richland Hills and Watauga police after a dangerous and destructive street takeover event.
Video from the area shows a car doing donuts in the intersection with a passenger hanging out of the window before a police officer arrives on the scene.It happened over the weekend.
It was moments of chaos Saturday night shown in video of cars driving dangerously and making donuts on the road. "We’re used to the noise. I mean immediately we heard a huge crash. We were out the door like a streak of lightning," said neighbor Echo Kuntz.Video from the area shows a car doing donuts in the intersection with a passenger hanging out of the window.
Watauga PD says it arrested one driver, Zakaree Beverly, who tried to flee the scene and crashed into a parked vehicle.Kuntz was also watching and has had drivers end up in her yard in the past. North Richland Hills police also arrested several drivers associated with but not directly involved in the street takeover.
