UPDATE: Two people died and a 60-year-old was taken to the hospital with major injuries following a crash near Hwy. 1 and Bean Hollow Road in San Mateo County, the CHP says.
Multiple first responder agencies were involved in a rescue near Bean Hollow Beach and Pescadero, Cal Fire said at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday.
Two people died at the scene and a 60-year-old woman was transferred to Stanford Hospital with major injuries.The CHP said the woman's husband is one of the fatal victims.
