NIGHTCLUB SHOOTING: When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive 34-year-old man near the entry, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, police said. A 26-year-old woman was located inside the nightclub, also unresponsive.
At about 1:57 a.m., Gary officers responded to the 1700 block of Grant Street for a call of shots fired at Playo's Night Club.
When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive 34-year-old man near the entry, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, police said.Both were transported to the hospital by Gary medics.Four other people were shot during the incident. One of the four is listed in critical condition. The other three appear to have non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
