Trevion Harris, 22, and Alonzo Simpson, 17, were booked into Dallas County jail Thursday on charges of capital murder and evading arrest. Simpson also faces a marijuana possession charge. Bail for each man is more than $1 million. Harris’ lawyer did not immediately respond to a request for comment, and it was not clear whether Simpson had an attorney.
Dallas police officers responded to the 2900 block of Al Lipscomb Way about 1:30 p.m. Sept. 25, where they found a 14-year-old boyThe boy, identified by the Dallas County medical examiner’s office as Manuel Edwards, died at a hospital.
