One suspect had been a fugitive for over two weeks.

Authorities in Mercer County announced charges Wednesday against a man and woman that accuse them of shooting at a person on a state park trail last month.

Bernard was identified as a suspect and charged shortly after the incident, and had been a fugitive for over two weeks before surrendering to police Wednesday, police said. He was at the Mercer County jail awaiting a court hearing.
