The Columbia Tap Trail is a historic 4-mile trail that was once part of a nearly 50-mile rail line constructed in 1856.Two teenagers were arrested in connection with recent robberies on a Third Ward bike trail and more people could be arrested in the future, the Houston Police Department announced.
Last week, HPD told the community they believe the alleged assaults and robberies happening on the bike trail were committed by the same group of people. An attorney for Christten declined to comment on the case. A phone number listed for Carroll was not in service."Talk to your young men, and especially that group between 16 to 24. Talk to them, encourage them not to do these types of things because one could end up costing you financially. At the same time, not only could they be victimizing somebody else, but they themselves could find themselves hurt," Turner said.
