Houston-area hopefuls for 2023 NFL draft
Achane is one of the most exciting running back prospects in this year’s draft after a strong junior season for the Aggies. He rushed for 1,102 yards and eight touchdowns and averaged 5.6 yards per attempt.
He also showed his versatility in the passing game with 196 receiving yards and three scores. He was a first-team All-SEC selection for his efforts. Achane opened a lot of eyes at the NFL combine, running a 4.32 in the 40-yard dash. He had a prolific high school career at Marshall, collecting 2,791 total yards and 48 touchdowns as a senior.
