“I’m not a chef, but I’m a good cook,” musician John Legend tells his wife, TV personality Chrissy Teigen, as the two dig into a sumptuous meal featuring—among other things—corn and French fries with their kids, six-year-old Luna and four-year-old Miles.
At lunch with the family, Legend and his loved ones don disposable plastic gloves to enjoy a crawfish feast. “I love recipes that take a really long time; I love braising, I love making things that take three, four, five hours,” says Teigen, with Legend noting that, growing up, he became the cook at home after his parents’ divorce.
After lunch, it’s time to explore Vegas a little bit before Legend stars doing vocal exercises to prepare for his show at the Zappos Theater—and honestly, if you’ve never heard Legend warming up his instrument, I highly recommend the experience.
