2021 wasn't as bad as 2020 for New Jersey restaurants, but many beloved restaurants still closed.
A burrata pizza from Una Pizza Napoletana in Atlantic Highlands, an acclaimed pizzeria run by Anthony Mangieri that closed its doors this year. While things certainly improved for the New Jersey restaurant industry in 2021 as vaccines slowed the pandemic, the aftershocks of 2020 were still being felt throughout the year.
