The man drove off the road while riding his motorcycle in Perry County and hit two homes before his motorcycle caught on fire, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
A 36-year-old man died after a motorcycle crash in Tyrone Township, Perry County on Friday afternoon, Pennsylvania State Police say.
Christopher Johnson was riding his motorcycle east on state Route 274 at 3381 Shermans Valley Road and 3375 Shermans Valley Road when he went off the left side of the road and drove into the home at 3381 Shermans Valley Road, according to a state police report. Johnson was ejected from the motorcycle and was found lying on the ground between the two homes as the motorcycle continued forward, hitting 3375 Shermans Valley Road and then catching on fire, state police say.Shermans Valley Road was closed from around 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. while police and first responders investigated and cleaned the roadway.If you purchase a product or register for an account through one of the links on our site, we may receive compensation.
