The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of several Fabuloso cleaning products on Wednesday.
According to Fabuloso, which is a Colgate-Palmolive product,"a preservative was not added at the intended levels during manufacturing. With inadequate preservative, there is a risk of bacteria growth in the recalled products.""#Recall: 4.9 million @fabulosobrand multi-purpose cleaners can contain bacteria. Infection risk to consumers with weakened immune systems. Stop using immediately. Get refund, replacement," the CPSC tweeted.

According to the recall notice, roughly 4.9 million products are affected.
The products were sold at Amazon, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Home Depot, Sam’s Club, and Walmart, as well as other nationwide retailers. They were sold between December 2022 and January 2023 for prices ranging from $1 to $11.
