Police say a 2008 Honda Civic was traveling westbound near the 5000 block of Johnson Road near Galloway around 3:10 p.m. when the driver lost control.
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Five people were injured after a single-vehicle crash in southwest Columbus Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, a 2008 Honda Civic was traveling westbound near the 5000 block of Johnson Road near Galloway around 3:10 p.m. when the driver lost control and the vehicle ended up in a ditch on the south side of the road. The vehicle struck a wooden post and rolled several times before coming to rest on its wheels. Three passengers from the rear seats were ejected out of the vehicle. The driver and front passenger were trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by responding officials.
Two people were transported with life-threatening injuries, one taken to Grant Medical Center and one taken to Ohio State's Wexner Medical Center. One occupant was transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. The two others were taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital in what police describe as"stable" condition.WBNS would like to send you push notifications about the latest news and weather.
