McCary’s career path started to define itself when he co-founded an L.A.-based sketch comedy group in 2007 with students from the University of Southern California. After graduation, McCary, Kyle Mooney, Beck Bennet and Nick Rutherford came together to form Good Neighbor. Years later McCary, Mooney and Bennet were all hired to, and the following year Rutherford joined the late night comedy show as a writer.
