Now that it's officially Dry Skin Season, it's time to load up on the heavy moisturizers and ditch any potentially irritating or drying products. That's where the magic of Vaseline beauty hacks comes in. The benefits and wide range of uses for petroleum jelly have been widely documented, and with good reason; there's pretty much nothing the slick balm can't accomplish.
Just to be clear, you can use any old petroleum jelly for these – Vaseline brand works, yes, but so does Glossier's Balm Dotcom or any generic store brand. Or if you're someone who might perhaps prefer to avoid petroleum altogether, we'd recommend swapping in a lanolin-based product, such as Lanolips 101 Ointment or the Frank Body Lip Balm.Please note: Occasionally, we use affiliate links on our site.
