Billingsley Co.'s 500-acre Sloan Corners development straddles U.S. 75 in Allen and Fairview.
“This is the biggest undeveloped intersection in the Metroplex in the path of growth,” Billingsley said.
Sloan Corners is planned to include more than 10 million square feet of office, 6,000 apartments and over 200,000 square feet of retail space. “This community will have more green space than Klyde Warren Park” in downtown Dallas, according to its marketing materials. The developer isn’t wasting time with the massive project. The firm plans to build apartments and offices in the first phase on Chelsea Boulevard, Billingsley said.
Construction of a new Ridgeview Drive bridge across U.S. 75 will link both sides of Sloan Corners and includes pedestrian access, she said.
