While most couples on the reality TV show meet on dating apps or social media, Loren, who is Jewish, was on a Birthright trip to Israel where she met Alexei.

Loren and Alexei went to the town of Mitzpe Ramon by themselves to sit on the rocks and stare at the stars for two hours and it was the moment Loren fell for Alexei. Now, all these years later, amid the outbreak of conflict between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas, Loren has been talking about her support for Israel on Instagram.

However, some of her followers are not happy with her content. Loren shared an Instagram Story where she reposted a video originally posted by Israeli Hollywood actor Gal Gadot-Varsano . Loren wrote, “Some people message me saying I’m sharing too much.” Loren Brovarnik Says "You’re Not Alone" To Everyone Who's Hurting Loren told these critics, “There’s not enough footage to share!” She declared she would continue to share news about Israel on her Instagram page. “I stand with Israel” she added. Loren also posted a picture of her crying in support of the people who are in pain for their motherland like she is. She addressed the ones who have had years running down their face in the last few days.

The couple first appeared in 90 Day Fiancé season 3. During Loren & Alexei: After the 90 Days season 2, Loren and Alexei expressed a wish to move to Israel. Alexei has close relatives in the country. He has reassured fans that they are safe but deeply hurt because of the circumstances. Loren has described the current scenario as a nightmare. She’s sick to her bones and saddened beyond relief.
