A family’s dramatic escape from Nazi-occupied Denmark is the back story to a stately suburban villa north of Copenhagen
North of Copenhagen in the seaside suburb of Klampenborg, a home whose original owners fled Nazi occupation comes on the market for $2.5 million. The two-story, beige-brick home was built by businessman Heinrich Infeld in the 1930s, looked after by friends during World War II, reclaimed by the family after the war, then purchased by his son, who made it his home for six decades. The family retained ownership until five years ago.
