in the interest of social distancing as COVID-19 spreads across the US, which sadly has meant families have had to cancel their vacation plans.But, as only true fans know, the magic of Disney cannot be contained to the theme parks . After having to cancel their family vacation to WDW, parents Jessica and Brett Gubenko decided to work together to surprise their daughters with a Disney day at their Long Island, New York, home instead.
"We decided to tell them a bit in advance because they are both really creative and we knew they would want to give some input," Jessica explained to BuzzFeed. From breakfast at Chef Mickey's and makeovers at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to a"ride" on the Slinky Dog coaster and getting soaked on Splash Mountain, this family has managed to make quarantine dreams into a reality. Walt himself would be proud, IMO.They even used FaceTime to coordinate a princess parade so their cousins in Illinois could join in on the fun.
