It was Luby's general manager Mike Foderetti's idea. A few weeks ago, a drunk driver jumped the curb and hit the sign around 2:30 a.m. "I was so upset it happened, and it looked so bad. So I thought how could I make the best of it it because it was going to take a long time to get fixed," Foderetti said.
