Transformers: Rise of the Beasts director Steven Caple Jr. says there will be a major moment involving the Autobots during the final battle of the film. Taking place after the events of Bumblebee, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will see the introduction of the beast-like Maximals and Predacons into the live-action film franchise. It will also be the second live-action Transformers movie not to be directed by Michael Bay, who retains a producer role.
I will say that there is a moment toward the end of the movie that I'm really excited for people to see. We take the term 'Autobot' and bring it to a whole new level. I can't go into any more detail, but it's a very emotionally powerful moment in the third act of the movie that you'll recognize when you see it in a theater.
