Accused British member of 'Dark Overlord' hacking collective appears in U.S. court
- A British man who prosecutors say was a member of the hacking collective known as “The Dark Overlord” appeared in federal court in St. Louis on Wednesday following his extradition to face conspiracy and identity theft charges.
Wyatt, who surrendered to U.S. authorities at an airport in the UK, was ordered held without bond pending further court proceedings. Wyatt is the first member of the Dark Overlord to face prosecution following a lengthy investigation conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and British authorities.
