, Bond is indeed getting replaced, not by Elba but by British actress Lashana Lynch, according to the, alongside Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson. According to theA movie insider said: "There is a pivotal scene at the start of the film where M says 'Come in 007', and in walks Lashana who is black, beautiful and a woman. It's a popcorn-dropping moment. Bond is still Bond but he's been replaced as 007 by this stunning woman.
There aren't many other details on the film yet, there are rumblings that Christoph Walz, who was recently seen on set. "Bond 25," as it's currently dubbed, is expected to premiere in April 2020.
