MORE VICTIMS SPEAK OUT - A Utah man who has been previously accused of scamming nearly $200,000 from a romantic partner is now facing additional felony charges as more victims come forward with experiences of sexual abuse.
In two cases filed this week, Nathanael Reid Holzapfel was charged with two counts of forcible sexual abuse, a second degree felony, and three counts of Lewdness.
The first case occurred between October and November in 2021, when Holzapfel touched the victim in a sexual way without consent and made inappropriate comments on multiple occasions, arrest documents report. He faces one count of forcible sexual abuse and three counts of lewdness for that case.The victim told Holzapfel he was"very touchy," to which he replied,"that he was trying to desensetize [the] victim," arrest documents state.
