As the MCU slowly kicks off Phase Five, a AgathaCovenOfChaos fan-made poster illustrates the tension between the ScarletWitch and Morgan le Fay.
A gorgeous new fan poster for the upcoming Disney+ show Agatha: Coven of Chaos has been released, depicting the eponymous character foregrounded by Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch and Morgan le Fay – the role suspected to be played by Aubrey Plaza. Agatha: Coven of Chaos is a spinoff show spawned from WandaVision's great success, led by Kathryn Hahn's Agatha Harkness as she breaks free from the trance she was placed under by Wanda.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY The stunning poster, created by @marveldsign, illustrates Plaza as Morgan le Fay – a legendary, near-ageless witch from Arthurian times. There has been plenty of speculation as to which sorceress Plaza will play in Agatha: Coven of Chaos, including Agatha's granddaughter and even Mephisto, but the prediction of Plaza as Morgan le Fay remains the most popular theory.
Morgan le Fay was already featured once in the MCU, portrayed by Elizabeth Hurley in the TV series Runaways. However, links between the MCU and non-Disney+ shows are dubious, and with the concept of variants and the multiverse underway, Plaza could easily portray an alternate Morgan iteration. In Runaways, she was trapped in the Dark Dimension and used the Darkhold once she escaped, making her character well-versed in complex concepts the MCU has already explored.
Will The Scarlet Witch Return In Agatha: Coven Of Chaos? The Scarlet Witch was crushed by Mount Wundagore in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as she destroyed the Darkhold. Due to the radio silence from Elizabeth Olsen and Marvel Studios as to whether Wanda's story in the MCU is complete, it is unknown whether the Scarlet Witch will return in Agatha: Coven of Chaos.
