U.S. service members are required to get more than a dozen vaccines and immunizations to serve but the Covid-19 vaccine has been particularly divisive. To get troops to comply, services have in some cases counseled troops about the vaccine. Officials have warned that those who aren’t vaccinated can’t deploy and eventually won’t be promoted.
