FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Governor Mike Dunleavy established a Task Force on Child Care on Thursday, April 6, with the issuing of Administrative Order 346.
The task force, once assembled, is expected to develop a plan to make childcare in Alaska more available and affordable.Its tasks will include finding ways to incentivize employers to sponsor child-care facilities, and fostering public-private partnerships.
