On Thursday, Bill Liming showed the Stafford brothers evidence pictures of his son’s beaten and bloodied body. The case focused on whether the brothers acted in self-defense or deliberately attacked Liming, who was a rising senior at Firestone Community Learning Center in Akron. The Stafford brothers chose not to testify throughout the trial and did not make a statement during their sentencing in court Thursday, which wasChristy Lang, Ethan Liming’s aunt and godmother, said their family has been shattered by the teenager’s death, and the Stafford brothers have shown no remorse.
