Lows overnight will fall into the single digits in north and north-central Alabama. Southern central Alabama and south Alabama could see the mercury dip into the teens.
Those strong winds will create wind chills as low as 20 degrees below zero for the northern parts of the state. Friday night will again be bitterly cold, with more single-digit temperatures possible in the northern parts of the state.Here are the low temperatures expected from Friday night into Saturday morning.There will also be a low chance for a little snow for parts of north Alabama -- and some icy spots on roads could be possible.
