Dianne King visited an American Family Care in Forestdale Thursday. She dozed off while waiting for test results. When she awoke, four hours after she had arrived in the office... she was the only one there.
An Alabama woman said she fell asleep in an American Family Care while waiting for test results and when she woke, everyone in the doctor’s office was gone for the night.
As she waited, she dosed off. When she woke, it was four hours after she first arrived at the office.at that point, which has now been viewed more than 24,000 times.King arrived at AFC at 4 p.m. She signed in, and was put into an examination room at 6 p.m., she said.The next thing she knew it was 7:55 p.m.
Throughout the six-minute video, King continued to search for signs of anyone still at work. There were none.“Do I have my test results? No, because they forgot about me,’’ King said in the video. “I can’t believe this happening right now.”In a Friday interview, King said she spoke this morning with a regional manager who apologized.
