The series is scheduled to make its debut on October 6 on ABC and on Hulu.The video features Swank’s Eileen as she takes on a job in Alaska, where she must help with the investigation of a cold case involving the deaths of many indigenous women. As she seeks for the truth, she’ll realize that Alaska has a lot more stories to tell than it seems to.
“The series follows Eileen Fitzgerald, a recently disgraced reporter who leaves her high-profile New York life behind to join a daily metro newspaper in Anchorage on a journey to find both personal and professional redemption,” reads the synopsis.Alaska Daily is executive produced by Swank, Melissa Wells, Bert Salke, Kyle Hopkins, and Ryan Binkley. It is a production by 20th Television.
