Alief ISD superintendent to retire

The district on May 13 announced Chambers’ retirement at the end of the year.The superintendent of Alief ISD will retire at the end of December, the district announced Friday.
H.D. Chambers, who worked in Texas public education for nearly four decades, spent the last 12 years as the district’s superintendent.
