All Elite Wrestling's weekly TV show has an official launch date on TNT.
All Elite Wrestling’s weekly TV show will be launching on TNT on Wednesday, October 2, the network announced today. It’ll air from 8 p.m. ET to 10 p.m. ET, and the first episode will be broadcast live from the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. If you want to score tickets to that first TV show, keep an eye on AEW’s social media accounts on July 29; the internet-savvy company will be announcing the pricing info and on-sale date on their socials at 12 p.m. ET that day.
TNT also released a trailer for the upcoming show. It’s full of footage of the handful of events AEW has promoted so far, along with snippets from their various rallies and online programs. It’s an enticing glimpse at a company that is pushing itself hard as a younger, cooler, riskier alternative to WWE, and all without mentioning that company’s name.. WWE is at no real risk at the moment—they’re guaranteed billions of dollars in TV fees over the next five years—but AEW is on a hot streak.
