Doug Mastriano’s website says that if he’s elected governor of PA, he’ll work with the PA General Assembly to introduce and pass bills to “establish Pennsylvania as a ‘Second Amendment Sanctuary’.” He makes this promise despite the long list of recent gun shooting massacres.
Doug Mastriano wants you to buy as many AR-15s as you’d like. So, felons, violent criminals, terrorists, go for it.But Mastriano’s promise is way out of the mainstream of what PA citizens want. Most Pennsylvanians want more gun restrictions, not less. Mastriano’s website says his 2nd Amendment Sanctuary State promise will restore our freedom. He thinks restoring our freedom means that in the grocery store, or in church, or at a parade, we have to figure out who’s a good guy with a gun and who isn’t.
