The local-based nonprofit welcomes guests to an ice cream social to learn about their free programming

Alzheimer’s San Diego will host its second annual open house and ice cream social on Thursday to help people living with dementia and their family caregivers connect with free programs and services.

During the event, guests are encouraged to interact with staff to learn more about each of the programs Alzheimer’s San Diego offers. Each person will be given a passport when they arrive, and those who have each box checked off will be entered in a drawing to win free tickets to a San Diego Padres game on Sept. 18.
