Now, Bynes’ lawyer David Esquibias is asking for privacy on behalf of his client, who he says “is seeking treatment for ongoing mental health issues.”“Any reports that Amanda is suffering from drug or alcohol addiction issues are completely false,” continues Esquibias in a statement.
“We ask for privacy during this time, and for any speculation about her personal life from the public and the media to cease so Amanda can focus on getting better.”A source close to Bynes previously told PEOPLE she had been residing in a sober living facility but recently checked into a treatment center for continuing care of mental health issues.RELATED VIDEO:
