Shooting in Westchase leaves teen in critical condition
A teenager was in critical condition after he was shot walking home from work in Westchase early Monday, Houston police said.
The 18-year-old was nearing his apartment in the 9800 block of Meadowglen Lane when he was shot in the parking lot, Houston police said. It appeared the teen and the gunman had a confrontation before the shooting, investigators said.The teen ran to his apartment around 1 a.m. and called the police. The gunman fled the scene, and the teen was taken to the hospital, officers said.
