Former Arizona State star Brandon Aiyuk caught two of Jimmy Garoppolo's four touchdown passes, Deebo Samuel ran for a score and totaled 57 yards and tight end George Kittle caught touchdown passes of 39 and 32 yards.Right before kickoff, rain began to fall.
The 49ers got help from an iffy facemask penalty on the Cardinals' Jonathan Ledbetter, and a couple of big gains, to score the game's first touchdown early in the second quarter for a 7-3 lead. Aiyuk caught the seven-yard touchdown pass from Garoppolo.
