Anchorage police are searching for a man they say is connected to the deaths of a woman and teenage girl who were found dead Friday in a home in East Anchorage’s Scenic Foothills neighborhood.
Jalonni Blackshear, 39, is a"person of interest" in the deaths of a 35-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl that occurred on Friday, April 15, 2022, in Anchorage's Scenic Foothills neighborhood.
In the statement on Tuesday, police said 39-year-old Jalonni M. Blackshear was a “person of interest” in the case and asked for the public’s help finding him. Blackshear is related to both of the victims, police said. Police first asked the public for help locating Blackshear on Saturday because he “currently has active warrants.” Their initialdid not tie him to the double homicide. Police said he was believed to be traveling somewhere on the East Coast.
