The family of 44-year-old Maurice Pinkard, who was fatally struck in a hit-and-run on the shoulder of I-95, made an emotional plea as they spoke to FOX 29 about the man who was a husband, father of six and grandfather.

Maurice was a master carpenter and one of his sons described him as "everything a father should be." According to the Pinkard family, they were wearing reflector vests, cones were up and the hazard lights on their vehicle were on during the time of the crash.
