Former Trump ally hits out over reports that the president has not built a single mile of new border wall in 30 months.
on July 11, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency announced that they had completed construction of 50 miles of wall in areas including San Diego, California; El Paso, Texas; and the Rio Grande Valley, following more than $1.6 billion of funding received in 2017 and 2018.the funding was meant to replace old walls as well as construct new barriers, which the Trump administration has failed to achieve.
