Following Avengers: Endgame's setup for Sam Wilson to become Captain America, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier gave Mackie the first opportunity to suit up in the red, white, and blue suit. He is returning to the role in Captain America: New World Order, which will be the first solo movie in the franchise not to star Chris Evans' Steve Rogers.
The hilarious tease by Anthony Mackie came after several questions about Captain America 4's story, which the star said he does not know much about. This led him to begin talking about something as non-spoilery as his derrière, playing on the jokes that became more popular after Avengers: Endgame about how great Chris Evans' Captain America's ass was.
