Apple event: A new iPhone and details on subscriptions services.
Apple on Tuesday held its yearly fall event at its headquarters in Cupertino, California, announcing a variety of details on its new subscription services as well as new products — including a new iPhone.
The latest top model is called iPhone 11 Pro, a reference to the smartphone’s three-camera system that includes an ultra-wide camera with a broader field of view for capturing landscape shots, as well as a telephoto lens. A second-tier version, simply called iPhone 11, will retail for $699, a distinct price reduction from recent models that had pushed the price of new iPhones near or into four digits. Its battery will last an extra five hours beyond current phones, the company said.
