Apple TV+ has given PEOPLE an exclusive peek at its coming four-part docuseries 'The Super Models,' featuring Cindy Crawford talking about her career beginnings.
revealing how she went from her small town in Illinois to the glamorous catwalks of New York and Milan.
"I never even thought about modeling," Crawford, 57, admitted in the 25-second clip that begins with a photo of the supermodel from the 1980s when she first began her career. "I didn't even know it was a real job. I didn't know how I would get from DeKalb, Illinois, to a magazine," Crawford said as she sat in a white director's chair, dressed casually in a black dress and matching leather jacket.
The clip then cuts to footage of Crawford performing commercial work in the '80s. "My dad really didn't understand that modeling was a real career," she said. "He thought modeling was like another name for prostitution. So they came with me to my very first modeling appointment."In Apple TV+'s upcoming documentary series
