The next Apple Watch is to include great new features, a new report says, but there may be a downside
The other part of the Nikkei news is considerably less welcome. As Apple begins to ramp up production, it has encountered significant production performance issues, it’s reported. And this has led to production being halted for Series 7. It said:
“As a result, the production of the new watch has been temporarily halted as Apple and its suppliers try to sort out the problems and further certify the designs before going into mass production, four people said.”Well, this is not good news, obviously, but all may not be lost. While it will certainly mean a delay before Series 7 goes on sale, it doesn’t necessarily mean the announcement of the watch will be delayed.
